She was born in Padova in 1937. She graduated in Fine Arts at the Academy of Brera. Anna Santinello uses weaving of wires and this work has nothing to do with the modeled. For that reason the term “plastic” seems to be the less suitable to define her artwork. The tensions grind, flake and shell the figure, but it remains. Or better, the crumbling of the image doesn't go to the chaos. From this point of view, the wire is nearly the thread. A lot her artworks are shown in many public and private collections in Europe, United States, Argentine and Japan.
