Nino Mustica was born in Adrano (CT) in 1949. He lives and works in Milan. He was a teacher at the Institute of Art of Catania and at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, in Milan. His artistic path, characterized by his painting research, brought him since 1995, to experiment with new shapes that, through the use of computer graphics, became three-dimensional shapes. These are the concrete results of his elaboration of painting. The image spins on itself and the bi-dimensional shape turns into a new three-dimensional form, like a sculpture floating in the space. He uses fibreglass, sometimes at its undefined form or painted, that makes the surface smooth and shiny.
