One of our awkward mind, well known for his shrewdness and the taste for jokes and calembour.
He is famous for the collaboration with Indro Montanelli with whom he realized the Volumes for the History of Italy, as well as books he wrote and for which he has been awarded many times (a famous Bancarella for example).
An author loved from the great audience, he has collaborated with the Corriere della Sera and nowadays he writes for the Messaggero.

Roberto Gervaso was born in Rome, where he actually lives, on 9th july 1937; he studied in Italy and in the United States and graduated in Modern Literature with an essay about Tommaso Campanella.
He has beside him, a long career as a journalist; this job has let him collaborate with lots of newspapers and journals as well as in television and radio, where he is a politic and customs' opinionist.
In the second half of the 60s he dedicates to spread history, writing, with his friend and journalist Indro Montanelli, six volumes of the “History of Italy”; until now he has published 40 works, and many of them were translated in english, french, german, spanish and japanese; these works were sold all around the world (United States, South America, Spain, Portugal, France, UK, Japan, Bulgary, Poland) and won also numerous literary award such as two Bancarella Prize.
Politic opinionist, since 1996 he host every morning a show on an italian television channel (Rete4).
He travelled a lot and came in touch with many protagonists of the XX century such as: George Simenon, Salvador Dalì, Andrés Segovia, Arthur Miller, Lauren Bacall, Michail Gorbaciov e David Rockfeller.
